Herbert Puchta este un autor de carti de origine germana, profesor de limba engleza si fondator al editurii Cambridge University Press. S-a nascut in 1955 si a absolvit Universitatea din Stuttgart in 1979, unde a obtinut obtinerea diplomei sale. Dupa absolvire, el s-a angajat la British Council. In 1983, s-a alaturat Cambridge University Press si a publicat prima carte "Games for Language Learning”.
