Alan Moore este un scriitor englez de romane grafice, nascut pe 18 noiembrie 1953 in Northhampton, Anglia. El a devenit rapid unul dintre cei mai influenti scriitori ai lumii moderne cunoscut pentru multe dintre lucrarile sale revolutionare. Moore a urmat cursurile de arte ale Colegiului Northhampton si a publicat primul sau album grafic Field of Fear in 1982.
