Richard Dawkins este un cercetator de origine engleza, nascut in 1941, in Africa de Sud. El s-a stabilist in Marea Britanie in 1959 si, de atunci, a devenit unul dintre cei mai importanti si influenti ganditori contemporani. Dawkins este un autor prolific si, in prezent, se concentreaza pe biologie evolutiva.
