Kahlil Gibran
Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931) a fost unul dintre cei mai influenti autori de carti din istoria literaturii. Nascut in Liban sub numele complet Kahlil Gibran Khalil Gibran, acesta a emigrat la Boston in 1895, unde a primit educatia sa. El a fost autorul a zeci de volume de poezii, romane si eseuri, majoritatea publicate in limba engleza. Operele sale au fost publicate in peste 40 de limbi si au cucerit inimile milioanelor de cititori din intreaga lume.
