Robert Jordan (nascut James Oliver Rigney Jr. pe 17 octombrie 1948 - si decedat 16 septembrie 2007) a fost un autor american de literatura fantastica si de fictiune avandu-si radacinile in Carolina de Sud. Jordan a scris o serie epica intitulata "Wheel of Time", care a fost publicata in anul 1990 si care consta in total in 14 volume.
