From Vancouver to Cape Breton, Scottish Gaelic-speaking communities could be found all over Canada from the late-18th to the mid-20th century. This is the first anthology of prose and poetry - mostly literary, some historical in tone - to give voice to the experience of Gaelic Canadians.
