Janette Oke este o autoare canadiana de carti de fictiune cristiana și romantică, născută pe 18 februarie 1935, in Champion, Alberta, Canada. A absolvit studiile sale de licență și masterat la Clareshon College, Alberta, și a predat științele educației la Pacific District College. Căsătorită cu Edward Oke, împreună au patru copii.
