Jonathan Swift
De asemenea, Swift a scris si alte lucrari importante cum ar fi: "The Battle of the Books" ("Bataia Cartilor"), "A Tale of a Tub" ("O poveste a unui butoi") si multe alte poezii. Swift s-a dedicat in mod special studiului religios, motiv pentru care a scris numeroase carti despre aceasta tema, inclusiv: "Thoughts on Religion" ("Ganduri despre religie"), "The Virtue of True Religion" ("Virtutea adevaratei religii") si "The Mystery of Faith" ("Misterul credintei"). Swift si-a pus o influenta considerabila pe perioada vietii sale, in materie de scris, datorita satiricii sale politice si a poeziilor sale.
