John Grisham este un autor american de romane de mister, avocat și politician. A devenit cunoscut pentru romanele sale politiste care au ca subiect justiția și sistemul de drept. Grisham s-a născut în Jonesboro, Arkansas, în anul 1955 și a studiat dreptul la Universitatea Mississippi.
