Tsugumi Ohba este un autor japonez nascut pe 12 decembrie 1967 in Tokyo, Japonia. El a devenit famos prin romanele sale si a publicat mai multe scrieri literare in intreaga lume. Titlurile sale cele mai cunoscute sunt "Death Note" (2003-2006) si „Bakuman” (2008-2012), ambele scrise in colaborare cu artistul Takeshi Obata.
