Age of Miracles

When one morning Julia and her parents wake up in their suburban home in California to discover, along with the rest of the world, that the rotation of the earth is noticeably slowing, they attempt to carry out their ordinary day-to-day lives with the knowledge that the world is coming to an end. And for Julia, facing the loneliness and despair of adolescence, this is all-the-more difficult.
